SAT Math Prep

Overwiew:

This SAT Math course is designed to provide students with maximum exposure to the concepts that appear on the SAT Math test. It will entertain, inspire, motivate and ultimately help the students to master the test. Depending on the majority grade and knowledge level of all students, the topic coverage can range from the basic SAT General Math test to the advanced methodologies and problem solving skills

Skills to Learn:

• Proficiency in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis, as tested on the SAT Math section
• Strategic problem-solving techniques for various types of SAT math questions, including multiple-choice and grid-in questions
• Ability to interpret and analyze data presented in tables, graphs, and word problems
• Time management skills to effectively allocate time during the SAT Math section and complete questions within the allotted time frame

Diagnostic Test

• Week 1 :Basics of Algebra
• Week 2: Exponents & Radicals
• Week 3: Ratios & Proportions, Percentages and Rates
• Week 4: Linear Equations and Functions

REVIEW TEST 1

• Week 5: Systems of Equations and Inequalities
• Week 6: Factoring & Polynomials, Nonlinear Functions
• Week 7: Quadratic Equations and Functions
• Week 8: Modeling Problems

REVIEW TEST 2

• Week 9: Geometry: Angles, Triangles and Polygons
• Week 10: Circles
• Week 11: Trigonometry and Complex Numbers
• Week 12: Statistics and Probability

REVIEW TEST 3

• By completing the Digital SAT Math Prep course, students will develop a solid foundation in SAT math content and gain the skills and confidence needed to achieve their best possible score on the SAT exam.
